The announcement was made on Friday (19) by the Government of Rio Grande do Norte and Latam Airlines. The operation will be seasonal, between 15 of December 2026 and 28 of February 2027, with flights on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Latam reported that it intends to expand the supply of international flights to the State. According to data from the National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac), the flow of passengers between Argentina and Rio Grande do Norte grew 313,2% between January and April of this year, compared to the same period of 2025. With the operation, Natal will now have connections to Buenos Aires via Ezeiza and Aeroparque airports, in addition to flights to Lisbon, Portugal, and Montevideo, Uruguay.
