Mexican singer and actor Christian Chávez used his social media this Saturday (25) to debunk rumors that he would be one of the participants of the 18th season of 'A Fazenda'. The artist, worldwide known for the group RBD, clarified that he did not receive an invitation from Record for the reality show and that the speculations do not match reality.
Through a message published on his Instagram profile, directed specifically to Brazilian fans, the artist was categorical in denying his participation in the program. 'People of Brazil, I am not going to participate in A Fazenda', stated the singer, seeking to put an end to the speculations that gained strength on the internet.
The confusion originated after the circulation of an unofficial list containing alleged names for the new season's cast. Christian Chávez's name appeared among the possible confined contestants, although the network has not yet officially announced the participants of the edition premiering in September.
Despite the denial regarding the reality show, the artist confirmed that he will be in Brazilian territory during the month of August. However, he emphasized that his trip to the country aims to fulfill professional commitments that were already part of his previously established schedule.
The 18th edition of 'A Fazenda' is scheduled to premiere on September 14, hosted by Adriane Galisteu. So far, Record has not commented on the leaked list that mentioned the RBD member.
