San Juan da New Zone drew crowds and attracted Brazilian tourists

The second edition of San Juan da New Zone Importados transformed Ciudad del Este into a massive Paraguayan cultural festival. Held in the Shopping del Este parking lot, the free event gathered thousands of people, including residents, visitors, and Brazilian tourists, consolidating itself as one of the largest June festivals in the Triple Frontier. Throughout the night, the public visited more than 60 stalls with traditional foods, participated in traditional games, and watched cultural performances that revived one of Paraguay's most representative festivals. One of the major highlights was the rotating rib grill, which caught the attention of visitors and became one of the most sought-after spaces at the event. San Juan da New Zone The closing performance was by singer Marilina Bogado, who brought a crowd to the stage and headlined one of the most anticipated moments of the program. In addition to the cultural celebration, San Juan also fulfilled an important social role. Part of the funds raised during the party will be donated to the Volunteer Firefighters of Ciudad del Este, contributing to strengthening the work developed by the corporation for the benefit of the community. Held just a few meters from the border between Paraguay and Brazil, the event attracted thousands of Brazilian tourists who were in the city for shopping and took the opportunity to experience one of the most emblematic traditions of Paraguayan culture, expanding the leisure and entertainment experience offered by the destination. The San Juan featured official presentations by Neupar Cubiertas and Indufar, in addition to sponsorship from the brand WiWU. The initiative was also declared of Cultural Interest by the Municipal Council of Ciudad del Este, with ratification from the Municipal Government. The success of the party confirms San Juan da New Zone Importados as an event that goes beyond cultural celebration: it boosts tourism, drives the local economy, strengthens integration between Brazil and Paraguay, and has become part of the calendar of major events in the Triple Frontier.
