RB Leipzig has announced Martín Demichelis as its new manager. The 45-year-old former Argentine defender, with a notable stint at Bayern Munich, has signed a contract until June 2028 to replace Ole Werner.
The team finished the last Bundesliga season in third place and secured a spot in the Champions League, but had an irregular end to the season. Demichelis arrives after managing Mallorca, where he took on the mission of avoiding relegation.
