Disney+ announces new releases for the week of July 27

The Disney+ catalog presents a diverse schedule for the period between July 27 and August 2, 2026. The week is marked by major premieres, including the feature film The Devil Wears Prada 2 and the new series Fúria, in addition to new episodes of well-known productions and live sports and musical broadcasts.

Among the platform's major highlights is the return of Andy Sachs, played by Anne Hathaway, in The Devil Wears Prada 2. In the plot, the character now works as a special features editor at Runway magazine and reunites with her former boss, Miranda Priestly, in a scenario that puts the future of the publishing empire at risk.

In the thriller genre, the series Fúria premieres, featuring FBI agent Alice Black, played by Emmy Rossum. The plot follows the agent's search for a calculating serial killer, creating a clash where the boundaries between good and evil become increasingly uncertain.

The platform will also have new chapters of hit productions. X-Men ’97 reaches its second season, presenting the mutants divided into different eras and facing a new wave of intolerance in the 1990s. Meanwhile, the series A Shop for Killers advances to its second season, with episodes 3 and 4 focused on the confrontation against the Babylon organization.

For music and sports fans, the streaming service will offer live content. Lollapalooza Chicago 2026 will be broadcast via Hulu within Disney+. The sports schedule includes matches from the Brazilian Championship Série B, Copa Sudamericana playoffs, the ATP and WTA 500 tennis competitions in Washington, as well as NASCAR stages.
