City Hall accredits producers for school meals

The City of Araucária, through the Municipal Department of Education (SMED), published Public Call no. 001/2026, in which it discloses the details of the accreditation process so that rural producers can supply their products for school meals. Registration must be carried out at the SMED Administrative-Financial Center by June 30. The accreditation, aimed at formal groups, informal groups, or individual suppliers, values the production of Family Farming and/or Family Rural Entrepreneurship and their organizations, through the National School Feeding Program (PNAE). According to the information released, the signed contracts must respect the maximum value of R$ 40,000 per DAP/CAF. Local supplier project groups have priority in purchasing over other groups. Varied items The list of items that the City is interested in acquiring from producers is broad, including pumpkin, potato, kale, cabbage, red plum, persimmon, apple, strawberry, peach, kiwi, whole juice, fruit pulp, white and free-range eggs, bread, ricotta cheese, and cubed vegetables.
