Cold Front advances over Paraná Paraná received an orange alert about the danger of storms with heavy rains, winds of up to 100 km/h and hail between the afternoon and night of this Saturday (20) in part of the central region, Campos Gerais and eastern Paraná. The warning was issued by the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) - and, unlike the false alert sent by the National Civil Defense to some Brazilian cities, it is real. According to Inmet, the rains can accumulate up to 60 mm per hour or up to 100 mm/day in 69 cities. See the full list below.

The agency points out that all municipalities can have winds of up to 60 km/h and rains of up to 30 mm per hour or up to 50 mm per day. The Environmental Technology and Monitoring System (Simepar) states that the trend is that, by the end of Saturday, the cold front that is causing the rains will move away to the ocean.

On Monday, the forecast is for rain in all regions of the state, and from Tuesday (23) temperatures will gradually decline, the agency points out.
