He also stated that he heard from witnesses that his daughter had been assaulted by her ex-boyfriend. 36-year-old man was arrested in the act for the crimes of private captivity, rape, and bodily harm. Civil Police (PC-PR) Following investigative steps, the police found the woman at the man's house. She stated that she was being forbidden from leaving the house and was forced to have sexual relations with him. According to the detective, the woman reported that the man smashed her head against the wall and threatened her multiple times. "In light of the victim's account, initial support was provided and subsequently requests were issued for the forensic examinations pertinent to the case," the detective said. Ribeiro stated that the man gave a statement and denied the accusations. He remains imprisoned in the public jail of Ivaiporã.
