Some passengers jumped out of the vehicle when they realized it was going to crash against a wall. The accident happened in Londrina, in northern Paraná, and was filmed by a security camera. Before hitting the condominium, a person can still be seen jumping out of it and running alongside it. The location is close to a university, where there is a bus stop. According to Everton Pacheco Severino, a Fire Department soldier, a 19-year-old woman sprained her ankle when jumping from the vehicle. RPC, a TV Globo affiliate, found that few passengers were on board at the time of the accident. However, it was not possible to know the exact number nor the amount of people who jumped. "There weren't many passengers. And they realized quickly that there was no driver, the bus was going down by itself, and then they quickly evacuated the bus," explained the soldier. Along the way, the bus also hit a parked van and motorcycle. There are no reports of other injuries. The driver remained at the scene. According to Transportes Coletivos Grande Londrina (TCGL), the cause of the accident is under investigation.
