The police state that the device contained photos and videos of sexual abuse of children and adolescents, sold on a messaging app. The forensic work was carried out by the Scientific Police of Paraná, and the investigation also had the technical support of the Cyber Operations Laboratory (CIBERLAB), linked to the Directorate of Integrated Operations and Intelligence (DIOPI), the National Secretariat of Public Security (SENASP), and the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP). Several electronic devices were seized and examined. In the second phase, launched in October 2025, 14 people were arrested in the act for storing and sharing child abuse content and 44 search orders were executed in 18 states, plus the Federal District.
