Truck driver dies after vehicle catches fire in accident on MT highway A truck driver died after a serious accident involving three cargo vehicles at km 511 of BR-070, in Várzea Grande, metropolitan region of Cuiabá, on Monday (22). The road was closed.

The Fire Department works on containing the flames, with support from operational teams and a water truck from Nova Rota do Oeste. Traffic in the affected section was diverted to the opposite lane. As a result, vehicle circulation continues in a two-way system in the section. According to the Fire Department, the Specialized Traffic Crimes Division (Deletran), the Official Forensics and Identification Institute (Politec) and the Medical Legal Institute (IML) were called in to carry out the legal procedures.
