The proposal of the program is to create a more horizontal exchange environment, with less distance between speakers and audience, to stimulate solutions applicable to the daily routine of clinics, hospitals, and health services. Scientific debate The program addresses topics considered strategic for the area, such as the impacts of artificial intelligence on early diagnosis of language disorders, autism, and hearing loss. Also on the agenda are the challenges of hospital speech-language pathology in complex dysphagia cases, a condition that makes swallowing difficult and requires specialized follow-up. For the organization, choosing Belém as the venue also broadens the discussion about service provision in remote areas, including riverside communities and Amazon territories. Confirmed presences Among the event's highlights is speech-language pathologist Ingrid Gielow, president of the Brazilian Speech-Language Pathology Society, besides Mara Behlau, a world reference in voice and Brazilian representative on the IALP International Executive Committee.
The program also features speakers from the United States, United Kingdom, Croatia, and Egypt. According to the organization, the conference has simultaneous translation with real-time subtitles in all international lectures, aiming to broaden access to the content and reduce language barriers.
