Araucária offers adapted transportation for students with reduced mobility

The City Hall of Araucária, through the Municipal Secretariat of Education (SMED), offers specialized school transportation for students with reduced mobility. The fleet consists of eight vans and three adapted minibuses, serving approximately 140 students in the municipality. The service contributes to guaranteeing access and retention of students in the municipal school network, ensuring dignified conditions so they can fully exercise their right to education. In addition to the adequate structure, the transportation stands out for the training of the professionals responsible for the service. Drivers and monitors receive specific training to assist students with disabilities or reduced mobility, ensuring humanized, efficient, and welcoming service.
