After being notified by an acquaintance about the location of the captivity, the young man's father called the police. Upon arriving at the scene, officers saw three suspects jump the wall and flee.
Faced with the risk to the hostage's life, the team entered the house. Inside, the police arrested three suspects, two men and a woman. One of them even tried to hide in the bathroom during the approach.
The officers prevented the execution at the moment of the raid. According to the teenager, the kidnappers were on a video call with other faction members to hold a "live vote" that would decide his fate. The victim stated that several criminals had already "voted in favor" of his death, which was to be carried out with knives.
The PM reported that it arrived precisely at the moment the young man was about to be murdered. The victim and the suspects were taken uninjured to the 5th Police District.
