Although the excerpt of the speech shown is real, the journalist did not even anchor Jornal Nacional on that date (see more details below). Watch the statement falsely attributed to Renata Vasconcellos: "Lula does not intimidate himself right at the UN.

The verification led to a video from September 1, 2025, in which the anchor announces William Bonner's farewell from Jornal Nacional. In that recording, Renata is wearing a dark blazer and a light shirt — an outfit very similar to the one in the fake content.
This indicates that it may have been used by the creators of the adulterated version.
