5 Dicas de Organização Financeira para o Inverno

1. Monitor the use of the electric shower

The electric shower is one of the appliances that consumes the most energy in the home, especially in winter, when showers tend to be warmer and longer. To avoid surprises on your electricity bill, try to monitor usage time and, whenever possible, use the warm setting on moderately cold days.

2. Plan the purchase of warm clothing and bedding

Cold-weather clothing, blankets, and closed shoes usually have high prices during the high season. To save money, take an inventory of what you already have at home before going shopping. If you need to purchase something new, research in advance and, if possible, wait for the sales that occur during the transition of seasons.

3. Use heaters efficiently

If you use portable heaters, turn them on only in rooms where there are people and keep doors and windows closed to conserve heat in the environment. Remember to turn off the device when leaving the room and avoid leaving it running unnecessarily during the night.

4. Take advantage of seasonal foods

Preparing soups, broths, and hot drinks at home is an excellent alternative for the period. Giving preference to seasonal vegetables, greens, and fruits helps reduce the value of supermarket purchases, as these products are usually fresher and more affordable due to higher supply.

5. Perform preventive maintenance on the residence

Avoid unforeseen expenses with emergency repairs. Checking the state of the electrical wiring before turning on high-power appliances, cleaning air filters, and fighting small pockets of moisture are simple attitudes that help conserve the property and protect your pocket against unexpected expenses.
